A couple of days ago we found that the area where we had planted some broad beans that were just coming up had been disturbed and the tops of the plants eaten off. I had put some basic netting over it, mainly to keep the pigeons off, but it looked like something bigger than a pigeon had forced its way under the netting and eaten or broken the plants.
So I put my camera out last night to watch the area. As I was putting it out at about 9.30 pm I saw a fox in the garden, so reckoned that was what had done the damage.
Here are some clips from the resulting footage. In one of them, you can see the adult and a cub play fighting over the area where the beans are! I obviously need some stronger defences for the vegetables.
