We’re so pleased with our outstanding assessment for Knighton Green!

RHS IYN certificate for Knighton WIld - outstandingKnighton Wild’s work in St Mary’s Churchyard and on Knighton Green is entered in the It’s Your Neighbourhood scheme run by the RHS. Each year an assessor visits us to review progress and make an assessment based around community participation, environmental responsibility and gardening achievement. This is the third year we have been part of the scheme and in previous years we have been pleased to get a grade 3 (improving) but this year we have excelled ourselves and got a grade 5 outstanding! Paul Collingwood the RHS assessor visited us in early September and last week Nicky and Bev went to the awards celebration to hear our results.  The council support the RHS scheme across the city and each participating group gets £25 in gardening gift vouchers which is useful too.

The session will start at 10.00 and last for about 2 hours. Nicky will be bringing her Kelly Kettle so bring a mug if you want a hot drink. Email info@knightonwild.org.uk if you can help.
