5 people worked in St Mary’s Churchyard on Saturday 15th September. Nicky and Geoff trimmed and cleaned up the hedge we laid last year. You can see Nicky is very pleased with the regrowth which is already thickening up the boundary and providing more shelter. Steve checked out the bird boxes we installed earlier this year and found two of the tit boxes had been used. Meanwhile Uta and John restrimmed the grass around the gravestones and raked the arisings. Thanks to everyone who helped. We are looking forward to a good display of flowers next spring.
